Sandwell Park Golf Club - West Bromwich - 11.14 miles
Situated 200 yards from the Junction 1 of the M5 motorway, this well established and prestigious private members club creates the complete golfing experience for those who appreciate tradition and excellence in quality surroundings. Sandwell Park Golf Club was opened on Christmas Day 1897 on land owned by the Earl of Dartmouth. In 1946 the Club purchased the land from the Earl and since that time it has continued to develop. The Old Clubhouse was demolished in the early 1990,s and a superb modern one built which is second to none.

Walsall Football Club Formed in 1877. Bescot Stadium was built in 1990 and took the place of Fellows Park Ground which was located just 0.25 miles away from the Bescot. It currently has a capacity of 11,300 following an extension to the Gilbert Alsop Stand during the 20033-2004 season. It is now an all-seater stadium with disabled, educational and conferancing facilties that make it a focal point for the local residential and business communities.
